Yes, It is difficult to find a blue chip company or government department that has not been a victim of some form of attack.  Nobody wants to find their organisation at the centre of a breach, but to build better holistic risk models, Wee need real risk management data to improve our profiling models.  Our view is that the security community are all in this together, and if you are determined to improve your risk management, or just want assurance about effectiveness, Wee are waiting for your contact.  

Our director was Information/Technical Security Officer for a 15k user/100 site organisation for over 8 years, and understands concerns about reputation, liability, and personal/corporate anonymisation.   If you are willing to share recent risk data for improving our research, Wee are happy to address these concerns and will aim to provide you with FREE risk intelligence reports, based on our latest research.  Wee would like to build a mutually benficial risk management relationship with you.

Technical (Cyber) Security has been revolutionised with the application of Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), but risk management lags behind, being predominantly database driven and the expectation that human managers will be able to accurately enumerate organisational risk - which is a significant challenge when considering the complexity and dimensional relationships in risk today.  Please bear in mind:

• An organisation's risk response is directed by its risk management,.

• Technical security alone is not prime in reducing vulnerability to holistic attacks.

• The ISO/IEC International Standards are for [holisitic] Information Security, not technical security or cyber security - these are merely components.

• To be effective at directing technical security against holistic attacks, a risk management system should itself be holistic. 

Wee Secure’s main purpose is to help organisations improve their risk management.  Wee aim to do this through novel research, providing consultancy to those requesting help and willing to sponsor, provide data for our research, or engage in pilots.  Wee are developing software solutions that can be installed on-site for all organisations - large and small.  See Product Pilots.
